Green Masala Chicken

Ingredients
  • Chicken (12 pieces) _ 1 Kg
  • Garlic _ 6 Cloves
  • Coriander Leaves _ 2 Bunches
  • Green Chilies _ 7
  • Ginger/Garlic Paste _ 1 Table spoon
  • Onion ( finally chopped) _ 2
  • Lemon _ 4
  • Yogurt _ Half cup
  • Crushed Black Pepper _ 1 Tea Spoon
  • Salt _ To taste
  • Oil _ 1 Cup
Method

  • Heat chicken pieces, yogurt, salt, ginger/garlic paste in a pot without covering it and cook till totally dry. 
  • Heat some oil in a frying pan and dry onion. 
  • Spread out on the newspaper. 
  • When the onion becomes crispy, add in green Masala chutney and fry. 
  • Heat remaining oil and fry chicken until it change color. Add green masala chutney. 
  • Add crushed black pepper and lemon juice. 
  • Cover and cook for 5 minutes. 
  • Serve delicious green masala chicken hot with boiled rice and parathas.
