Broast (Charga)



Ingredients
  • Whole Chicken _ 1 Kg
  • Yogurt _ Half Cup
  • Vinegar _ Half Cup
  • Red Chilli Powder _ 1 Table Spoon
  • Roasted And Ground Cumin Seeds _ 1 Tea spoon
  • Ginger / Garlic Paste _ 2 Table spoon
  • Salt _ to taste
  • Lemon Juice  _ 2 Table Spoon
  • Black Pepper Powder _ 1 Table Spoon
  • Turmeric Powder _ Pinch Of
  • Chat Masala _ 1 Table Spoon
  • Food Color _ Pinch of
  • Oil _ as required

Method
  • Wash a chicken and make deep cut in it with the help of a knife. Mix food color in vinegar and spread it over the chicken. Leave it for 1 hour to marinate.
  • Put Yogurt, Ginger / Garlic Paste, Red Chilli Powder, Cumin Seeds,  Black Pepper Powder,  Salt in a bowl and whisk well. Rub the yogurt mixture on chicken and leave it for another 1 hour to marinate. 
  • Keep Chicken in an open - mouthed pot; without adding oil or water leave it on dum for 15 minutes. Heat oil in a large wok and fry the chicken in it. 
  • When the Chicken turns golden, take it out in a dish.
  • Serve with french fries, salad and naans.
