Healthy Fried lentils For Your Child Growth


Ingredients

  • Moong lentils(soaked) ------------------------- 1 cup
  • Pink lentils ----------------------------------- 1 cup
  • Gingar/garlic past -------------------------------1 tbsp
  • Kashmiri red chillies(finely cut lengthwise)---------- 4
  • Turmeric powder -----------------------------  1 tsp
  • Onions (finedly cut)--------------------------   4
  • Green chillies (finely cut lengthwise)---------------2
  • Cardamoms-----------------------------3
  • Whole hot spices  -------------------------------      1 tbsp
  • Fresh coriander(chopped)   ---------------------------  1 bunch
  • Butter       ------------------------------------- 1 tbsp
  • Water  ----------------------------------        1 cup
  • salt------------------------------------------    to taste
  • Oil --------------------------  1 cup

Method

  • Heat oil in a pot and fry onion, remove 1/2 onion on absorbent paper. 
  • Add ginger/garlic,turmeric,hot spices ,cardamoms and kashmiri chillies to pot and fry few minutes.
  • Add lentils water and salt and fry;cover with lid and cook till dry.
  • Add butter,green chillies and coriander;leave on dum.
  • Garnish with remaining onions and serve.
