Yummy Vegetable Pickle For Food Lovers


  • Carrots_________________3
  • Lemons_________________5
  • Garlic__________________20 cloves
  • Cauliflowers flowers_______100 grams
  • Big green chilies (whole)____20
  • White vinegar____________2 cup turmeric
  • Red chilies (crushed)______2 table spoon
  • Onion seeds_____________1 table spoon
  • Mustard seed____________1 table spoon
  • Cumin seeds_____________1 table spoon
  • Fennel seeds_____________1 table spoon
  • Fenugreek seed___________1/2 table spoon
  • Turmeric powder__________2 table spoon 
  • Water__________________2 cups
  • Salt____________________to taste
  • Mustard oil______________2 cups
  • Finely cut carrots lengthwise.
  • Cut lemons into halves.
  • Heat water and vinegar in a saucepan ;add all vegetables,turmeric and salt and cook with lid on till vegetables are tender.
  • Heat oil in a wok ;add red chilies,mustard seeds, fenugreek , cumin ,fennel ,and onion seeds
  • immediately pour this tempering over vegetables and remove vegetables from flame.
  • Cover with lid and keep aside for 10 minutes .
  • When pickle cools ,fill in a jar and preserve.
