Spicy and Healthy Fried Fish


  • Fish (whole,medium-size)------------------------------------  1
  • Hot spices powder---------------------------------------------  1 tsp
  • Tumeric (mode into paste with water)--------------------1 table spoon
  • Carom seeds-------------------------------------------------------1/2 tea spoon
  • Cumin seeds(crushed)----------------------------------------- 1/2 tea spoon
  • Mustard seeds(crushed)--------------------------------------- 1/2 tea spoon
  • Garlic paste--------------------------------------------------------  2 table spoon
  • Talahar chillies(powdered)------------------------------------ 2 table spoon
  • Dried / round red chillies (powdered)--------------------- 2 table spoon                                          
  •  Refiend flour colour---------------------------------------------4 tbsp
  • Lemon juice -------------------------------------------------------3 tbsp
  • Yellow food colour----------------------------------------------1 pinch
  • Salt------------------------------------------------------------------- to taste
  • Oil---------------------------------------------------------------------2 table spoon+for frying 
  • Lettuce,lemons,tomatoes(sliced)---------------------------for decoration


  • Slit open fish the center and clean properly.
  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl and coat fish  from inside and outside with it
  • Keep aside to marinate for a least 1 hour.
  • Heat oil in a big wok and fry fish open from the center from both sides;remove on absorbent paper.
  • Decorate serving dish with letuce,lemons and tomatoes and place fish on top;serve.
