  • A pot of water-------- 2 Litter

Method
Boil a full pot of hot water in a kettle, about 2L of water in all. Measure 1/2 cup of chrysanthemum flowers.  Put the flowers in the pitcher.3) Then, carefully add a little hot, boiling water, enough to partially cover the flowers.  Stir with a stirring rod and empty out this water.  This process gets rid of any surface impurities and keeps the flavor of the tea pure.  Let it soak for 3 minutes and swish the flowers around before emptying the pitcher.Flowers soaking in hot water Then, add the rest of the hot water to the "cleaned" flowers and let the tea soak for 5-6 minutes before serving.Pour into a cup and serve with sugar (to taste).

2. Cranberry Tea

Ingredients
  • 3 quarts ----------------------Water
  • 4---------------- Cup fresh or frozen cranberries, thawed
  • 2 ------------------Cinnamon sticks (3 inches)
  • 2------------------- Cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup---------------- Orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons ----------------Lemon juice

 Method
In a Dutch oven, combine the water, cranberries and cinnamon. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes or until berries pop, stirring occasionally.
Remove from the heat. Discard cinnamon. Strain cranberry mixture through a cheesecloth-lined colander. Return to Dutch oven. Stir in the sugar, orange juice and lemon juice; heat through. Serve warm. Yield: 12 servings (3 quarts).

Ingredients
  • 3 pound --------------------dandelion greens into 2-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup---------------------- extra-virgin olive oil
  • 5 large -----------------------garlic cloves, smashed
  • 1/4 to 1/2--------------------- teaspoon dried hot red-pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon --------------------fine sea salt

Method
Cook greens in a 10-to 12-quart pot of boiling salted water (3 tablespoons salt for 8 quarts water), uncovered, until ribs are tender, about 10 minutes. Drain in a colander, then rinse under cold water to stop cooking and drain well, gently pressing out excess water.Heat oil in a 12-inch heavy skillet over medium heat until it shimmers, then cook garlic and red-pepper flakes, stirring, until pale golden, about 45 seconds. Increase heat to medium-high, then add greens and sea salt and sauté until coated with oil and heated through, about 4 minutes.

  • 1 table spoon---------- fenugreek seeds
  • 1 cup -----------------------Water

Crush the fenugreek seeds and soak them in freshly boiled water. Let the seeds steep in water for at least 3 hours before drinking it. Alternatively, you can also crush the seeds and soak them in water. Allow the infusion to simmer in a pan for some time. Strain the tea and drink it hot or cold. The longer you soak the seeds, the greater the effect. You may also add a spoonful of honey for additional flavor

Ingredient
  • Water------------------4 cups
  • 2-inch piece ---------------- Fresh ginger root

Peel the ginger root and slice it into thin slices. Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan. Once it is boiling, add the ginger. Cover it and reduce to a simmer for 15-20 minutes. Strain the tea. Add honey and lemon to taste.

Method
If you have a tea ball, then shave pieces of fresh ginseng root and put into tea ball. Steep in very hot (but not boiling) water for 5 minutes. Add honey to taste.My favorite method does not require a tea ball. Peel ginseng root and make 7 or 8 thin slices. Coat the ginseng with a generous amount of honey and let sit for 15 minutes. Method 
Bring 40 oz of filtered water just to a boil.Place 10 generous tsp of Jasmine Jazz Full-Leaf Green in a glass iced tea pitcher, add boiling water and infuse for 3 minutes.Remove tea and allow to cool.add 5 Tbsp of agave nectar and 1 Tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice.Garnish with fresh lime slices.

  •  Green cardamoms-------------------2-3 pods

Heat up 8 glasses of water, on boiling point put 6 tsp green tea, 2-3 green cardamoms, a few mint leaves and 1/4 tsp mulethi in water. Simmer it on low heat until it reduces to 6 glasses of water. Drink this tea during the day especially after 30 minutes of each meal. After drinking it shortly you will notice that it helps to remove acids from your body.

  • 1 table spoon yarba mate per 8 ounces water.
Method 
Place your yarba mate into the filter of the French press. Slowly pour water over the yarba mate, allowing it to soak in and pass through the filter as you go. Brew for 4 to 6 minutes, depending on desired strength. Depress the plunger into the filter pot. Serve.
