If you have been experiencing pain and swelling in your joints of fingers, wrists, arms or legs and if the pain gets severe in the morning, it might be a case of Rheumatoid Arthritis .In addition to pain, some common symptoms are swelling and redness around the joint, limited movement in the affected body parts, and stiffness.There are two main kinds, osteo and rheumatoid, both of which affect the joint in different ways. Osteo arthritis is when the cartilage between bones wears down, until bone grates on bone. Rheumatoid is little less straightforward, being caused by an autoimmune disorder that causes inflammation of the synovial membrane (a soft tissue that protects joints in the body) and that can lead to bone loss. Whichever you experience, there are natural remedies for arthritis to manage the pain and ease the symptoms.


Home Remedies For Arthritis 

10. Apple Cider Vinegar 


  • Take a teaspoon of honey and mix it in little amount of boiling water in a drinking glass.Then add a teaspoon of cider vinegar and cold water up to the level of drinking glass.Drink this 3 times a day before taking food to get rid of the joint pain and arthritis.

2. Black Cumin 


  • Add 2 tsp of black cumin in a glass of water.Boil this mixture until it reduces to ¾ of its original quantity.Let it cool down.Drink this daily before going to bed and in the morning after waking up.

3 Epsom Salt 


  • Mix Epsom salt and fresh lemon juice in equal amounts to half a cup of warm water. Swallow one teaspoon of the mixture twice daily, one in the morning and one at night.You can also add two cups of Epsom salt to warm bath water and soak in it

4. Ground Ginger 


  • Bring 2 cups of water to a boil, and had ½ teaspoon  ground ginger and ground turmeric. Reduce to a simmer and let it be for 10-15 minutes. Strain, add honey to taste, and enjoy twice daily.

5. Caraway Seeds



  • Dry grind a mixture of 6 teaspoons of dried ginger, 6 teaspoons of caraway seeds and 3 teaspoons of black pepper. Take half a teaspoon of this mixture along with water, thrice daily.

6. Turmeric juice


  • You can also drink fresh turmeric juice, or a glass of milk mixed with one teaspoon of turmeric powder daily before going to bed.

7. Juniper Berry Tea


  • Bring 1 cup of fresh water to a boil, and place 1 tablespoon of dried juniper berries in a mug. Pour the boiling water over the berries and let them steep for 20 minutes before straining. Drink 1 cup twice daily, and add honey to taste if you like.

8. Mustard Oil


  • Take 1 cup  mustard oil in a pan.Add 10 g camphor to this oil.Heat the oil till the camphor gets completely dissolved.Let it cool down a little till it gets lukewarm.Massage your joints gently with this lukewarm oil.

 9.Cinnamon

  • Mix one-half teaspoon of cinnamon powder and one tablespoon of honey in a cup of warm water and drink it every morning on an empty stomach. Do this daily for several days.
