1. Ripe Bananas 




  • Too high an intake of salt is one of the most common causes of water retention around the abdominal area. Foods rich in potassium, such as bananas, help combat bloating caused by salty food. While salt attracts fluid into the cells, potassium drives the water molecules out of the cells. When incorporating bananas into your anti-bloating diet, be sure to only eat ripe fruit  unripe bananas contain resistant starch which can cause wind and bloating.

2. Baking Soda




  • Stir a teaspoon of baking soda into a glass of water and drink it. This solution neutralizes stomach acid and helps relieve gas and bloating.

3. Water


                            
  • Make sure you are drinking enough water.Water will help your body eliminate “extra” salt through your urine.  Less salt in your body will help stop swelling and bloating. Go for eight 250-mL glasses a day.



4. Ginger



  • Try drinking ginger, peppermint or fennel tea, or taking one of these herbs in supplement form. They help dispel gas and calm your digestive system.

5. Apple cider vinegar



  • Take a tablespoon in water prior to meals. Use a straw to avoid too much acidity around your tooth enamel.

6. Fennel Seeds



  • Chew on a few fennel seeds or sip a hot fennel and mint tea. Prepare fennel tea by crushing one teaspoon of fennel seed and adding it to one cup of water in a pot. Bring the water to a boil and cover and steep it for 10 to 15 minutes. Cool and strain. A traditional dose of fennel tea is about two to three cups daily.

7. Pineapple

 8. Papaya



  • Papaya is not only a delicious exotic fruit it also helps to relieve bloating. The clever papaya, also referred to as the fruit of the angels by Christopher Columbus, contains many active compounds that combat belly bloating. One of the main reasons papaya can help flatten your tummy is because it contains pa pain, a protein-digesting enzyme. It is worth noting that green unripe papaya (which is more available in Asian food stores), contains more pa pain than ripe papaya.

10. Don't Overdo Chewing Gum



  • Chewing gum can also lead to swallowing air, which can cause bloating.If you've got a gum habit, alternate chewing gum with sucking on a piece of hard candy or eating a healthy, high-fiber snack like fruit, vegetables, or lower-fat popcorn.

11. Eat less and more often
