Home Remedies To Cure Chicken Pox

For those who are lucky, chicken pox may only leave lighter red or dark acne-like marks on their skin. There are cases where the chicken pox virus only stays on a person’s body for a few days, so the chicken pox bumps decline right away.Chickenpox is a viral disease, which is caused by a virus, called Varicella Zoster, and it affects everyone at least once in a lifetime. Two days after getting infection, small, red and itchy blisters appear all over the body.  The first symptoms of chickenpox include fever, headache, and sore throat. The rash appears one or two days after the first symptoms start. The spots will go through the different stages, and it will take at least 10 days for all the blisters to form the crust after the first symptoms start. Home Remedies To Cure Chicken Pox 

1. Oats 

  • Take 1 cup of raw oats flour and 2 cups of warm water. Make a paste using this oat flour and water. Let it cool down. Now apply this to your scars and rub gently for about ten minutes.

2. Lavender Oil 

  • Add 2 drops of lavender oil to 1 tbsp of carrier oil for adults.Add 1 drop of lavender oil to 2 tbsp of carrier oil for children.Apply this to your chicken pox marks.

3. Baking Soda

  • Take baking soda and add a drizzle of water to itMix it well and apply this paste on the scar affected area of the skin Scrub it by gently rubbing the area for 2 – 3 minutes Allow it to get dry completely and wash it with water.Repeat 2-3 times a day.

4. Lemon Juice

  • Take lemon juice in a small bowl.Then take a cotton ball and dip it in the juice.Dab it on the scar affected area of the skin.Let it sit for about 8-10 minutes and wash it with water.

5. Cinnamon powder

  • Add ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon powder, 1 tsp. honey and 1tsp of lemon juice to it.Drink this tea 3-4 times a day to heal the lesions faster.

6. Queen And Meadow 

  • Take 2 tablespoons of queen of the meadow, 1 teaspoon of coltsfoot leaves, and 2 teaspoon of marigold flowers. Steep these in 2 cups of boiling water for at least 20 minutes. Take one cup of this tea every day. 

7. Neem Leaves 

  • Make a paste of neem leaves with water and apply it on the rash.Wash it off after 10-15 minutes.

8. Brown Vinegar 

  • Take ½ cup of brown vinegar and it to lukewarm bath water.Take bath using this water to get relief from skin irritation and to heal the lesions.

9. Marigold Flowers 

  • Mix two tablespoons of marigold flowers with one teaspoon of hazel leaves. Put the mixture in a cup of water and let it sit overnight.

10. Apple Cider Vinegar 

  • Take a cup of warm water.Mix one teaspoon each of apple cider vinegar and honey in it.Drink this solution daily in the morning as it gives an alkalizing effect.
