There are treatments for milia like chemical peels or laser ablation, skin medications like topical retinoids, removing the cysts using extreme heat, surgical scraping or freezing. Milia are considerably harmless though it can be unsightly. The condition is quite common in newborn babies but it may be observed in all ages. Home Remedies For Milia 
1. Garlic and Orange Peel Scrub


  • Prepare a scrub that requires 2 garlic cloves, 3 tbsp lemon juice and half orange peel powder. Grind them in a mixer to form a thick paste. Now apply on the affected area. After 10 minutes, clean it with lukewarm water.

2. Facial sauna

  • Soak a clean towel in hot water and wring out the excess water. Place the towel on your face for a few minutes and then remove it. Repeat a couple of times. Do this daily for about a week or a little more.Alternatively, you can steam your face for 10 to 15 minutes daily until the condition clears. You can apply apple cider vinegar or castor oil after this steam treatment.
3. Pomegranate peels 


  • Take pomegranate peels and roast them until they are toasty brown. Crush into a fine powder and mix in lemon juice. Apply to your face and allow to remain for up to 20 minutes. You can do this a few times weekly.

4. Lemon Juice and rose water 


  • Add a little lemon juice or rose water to two tablespoons of the powder to make a paste.Gently rub it on your face. Leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes before rinsing it off.This remedy a few times a week .

5.  Rice Scrub


  • Soak some rice in milk for about 4 to 5 hours. Then, grind them in a blender to form a paste. Apply it on your face and scrub gently. It will surely give the effective results.

6. Apple cider vinegar


  • 1 Tbsp. of cornstarch in a bowl, add in 1 Tsp apple cider vinegar and mix into a paste. Apply to skin and allow to stay on up to 30 minutes. Wet a washcloth with warm water and take paste off. Rinse with warm water. 

7. Honey and Jojoba oil


  • Mix 2 tbsp of honey with 2 tbsp of jojoba oil and apply on face for 15 minutes, rinse off well.

8. Egg mask


  • Make a mixture with these ingredients from your pantry – half teaspoon almond oil, egg white of one egg, one tablespoon raw and warm honey and one tablespoon yogurt. Leave it on your skin for about 30 minutes and rinse off.

9. Baking soda


  • 1 Tsp. baking soda in a bowl and add in 1 Tsp. castor oil. Mix well and apply to skin. Allow to soak in well for a few hours then rinse. You can do this once a day for up to 2 weeks.

10. Gram Flour Face Mask


  • Take a tsp of raw milk or rose water and add some gram flour to it. Apply this pack on your entire face. Wait until it dries completely. Later, wash with warm water
